SEPI Research Awards

SEPI - Award Winners of the year 2009 are

James Boswell (Dissertation Award) and
Antonio Pascual-Leone (Young Researcher Award)

SEPI - Award Winners of the year 2008

The winner of the dissertation award 2008 is Jessica Sandham Swope (Catholic University of America).
As no proposals had been made, there will be no young researcher award this year.

In 2007, SEPI has begun to award outstanding dissertation projects as well as achievements of more advanced young researchers.
The winners in 2007 are:
SEPI Dissertation Award: Catherine Eubanks-Carter (Stony Brook University)
SEPI Young Researcher Award: Mike Constantino (U Mass at Amherst).

The rules are that the winner of the dissertation award presents her/his work at the SEPI conference following the completion of the dissertation, while the winner of the young researcher award presents at the SEPI conference following the election for the award. These will be occasions to get acquainted with their work. Both winners of the 2007 awards will present at the 2008 Boston conference.

Please be aware that the deadline for nominations 2010 is February 1st, 2010. Every SEPI member is entitled to nominate a person falling in one of the categories. The rules can be read at http://www.sepiweb.com/awards.htm
