Welcome to SEPI
The Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI) is an interdisciplinary, international organization whose primary aim is to promote the development and evaluation of approaches to psychotherapy that are not limited by a single orientation.
SEPI aims to foster communication among clinicians, researchers, and theorists who wish to explore the integration of psychotherapeutic perspectives and the integration of research and practice. It provides a reference group for those interested in these topics.
Finally, SEPI serves an educational function by publishing a journal, the Journal of Psychotherapy Integration by holding an annual conference; by encouraging ongoing collaborative research on psychotherapy integration; by keeping members up-to-date concerning books, articles, workshops, and courses relevant to rapprochement among various frameworks; and by sharing integrative clinical methods.
In the spirit of encouraging multiple viewpoints, SEPI aims to promote, examine, and, where possible, integrate diverse approaches to bringing together the strengths of the various orientations in our field.
INVITATION: COMMON LANGUAGE FOR PSYCHOTHERAPY PROCEDURES PROJECT
SEPI members are invited to suggest brief entries describing psychotherapy procedures in plain language for publication on the Project's website www.commonlanguagepsychotherapy.org. The website shows the aim of the international Common Language project, the template for entries, and the many entries published so far - each includes a short Case Illustration. Authors' names are highlighted on the website. Suggestions can be emailed to the co-ordinators isaac.marks@kcl.ac.uk and mafr@copc.es.
